OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT

In 1419H/1998G, the Department of Safety and Security was placed under the umbrella of the General Department for Operations and Maintenance. It oversees all matters of safety and security and security in all University buildings and facilities as well as for all on-campus activities. Additionally, it guarantees that health and safety measures are maintained at on-campus construction sites and other sites of physical development at the University.

The General Department of Safety and Security is under the Vice-President for Projects. Matters of safety and security are ultimately supervised by the University President.
